SNUH and MedySapiens devleops method to detect rare disease in a week

Over 250 types of genetic rare diseases can be diagnosed within a week

Researchers at Seoul National University Hospital and Medysapiens have jointly developed a new testing method, “NEOseq-ACTION,” that diagnoses 250 rare hereditary diseases in a week.

The new testing method has a broader examining spectrum than the previous testing model, “Tandem Mass Spectrometry (TMS),” the hospital said in a press release on Monday.
